Mitch was born and raised in Nova Scotia and has been an artist and graphic illustrator for many years. You can see his interest in our coastal heritage in his fondness for fishing sheds, barns, boats, and architecture.

His commissioned illustrations are used extensively throughout the Maritimes for design purposes by architects and developers while his fine art graphites are purchased from select galleries. Most of his originals can be seen at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia’s “Art Sales and Rental Society”. He is equally at home with watercolour, acrylic and particularly graphite, which is used primarily for capturing the old weathered wooden buildings that dot our shoreline.
